A place to share things you have learned from this book, new perspectives you have gained, eye opening epiphanies, favourite quotes and sections.

Started this book during the weekend and wasn't sure what to expect. Really was feeling the 'journal like' writing that started off the book until it took a left turn and we started time travelling. Curious to see where this goes.

What's everyone else's thoughts on the book so far?

Shelby | 6 comments I’m about half way through, I think just getting back to present day, but I’m struggling to stay engaged. It’s okay, but not great for me. I’ll let you know more as I read more.

I find myself struggling with the same thing. It's difficult to stay engaged after I've given it a solid change. I'm close to halfway through the book now. The only thing bringing me forward in this book is my stubborness of not having a DNF.

Shelby | 6 comments 100%, I gave myself a 100 book challenge for this year.. so I need to finish it! But I’ll be okay to move on. But also I’m a little curious what happens.

That's an awesome goal! My goal is 25 this year. Pushing through!

I had to mark this book as my first DNF this year. While the writing style was very nice, it moved along at a leisurely pace.... And that was about it for me. There was nothing keeping me engage, I was very relaxed which was nice but personally I like novels that are able to draw me forward. This just kept me company. What did you guys think of the book?

Shelby | 6 comments I finished. I guess I was not disappointed. 1917 was sad. It definitely started slow but I was excited to finish.
