What does MeadowClan Territory look like?

Stargazer pads into the meadow with Grasspaw

Grasspaw followed Stargazer close behind. "What should we look for? Birds, rabbits, mice?" she asked looking up at Stargazer.

Stargazer opens his mouth a little taking a deep breath he smelled rabbit and the trail was fresh he crouches "Take a deep breath what do you smell?" he asks

Grasspaw opened her mouth. "Well, seems like Treewhisper went over there a little while ago..." she murmured flicking her tail in a direction towards SnowClan territory. She continued to focus. "Hmm... I think there was a few mice that passed by last night headed towards OceanClan border. And a rabbit passed headed LeafClan territory." she said. "Oh! The rabbit is extremely fresh!" she said realizing there was a rabbit nearby. Her tail curled up into a small ball excitedly.

Stargazer smiled proud of her even though she wasn't his apprentice "Very good," he says his voice low he crawls forward his paws made no sound as he moved forward and his tail flicked back and forth slowly he saw the rabbit and flicked his tail signaling for Grasspaw to come up

Grasspaw dropped into her crouch behind Stargazer smiling at the complement. She snuck up to stand beside Stargazer making a little noise but not enough to startle the rabbit.

Stargazer nodded at her to pounce on the Rabbit

Grasspaw glanced at Stargazer and moved around so she was standing on the opposite side of the rabbit. Then, she pounced at the rabbit. She pounce fell short by a few inches but, she continued to chase the rabbit so it ran close to Stargazer.

Stargazer leaped forward landing right on top of the rabbit he bit down on the back of its neck before it could make a sound Stargazer looked at Grasspaw "Now you must be careful when hunting you have to kill your prey quickly one reason because it is a kindness to the prey, and second so that it cant make noise and warn other animals," he says his voice low so that if any other animals were around it would alert them

Grasspaw nodded. She looked at the rabbit then looked around. She opened her mouth up to scent the air and immediately dropped down into a crouch. She slowly approached a tree near Stargazer. She scratched a claw along the tree making a ripping sound and a bird fluttered out of the tree frightened. She ran towards the bird and jumped up snatching it in her jaws mid-air and landed on all four paws biting down to kill it.

Stargazer smiles "nice," he says

Darkmoon heard voices and padded through the tall grass not making a sound he saw his brother was talking to a cat he couldn't tell who Darkmoon crouched then leaped out landing on his brothers back Darkmoon had his class sheathed so he wouldn't hurt his brother

Stargazer let out a hiss and kicked out with his back paws he could smell that it was his brother Darkmoon "Oh get off Darkmoon," he growls

Darkmoon laughs and rolls over swinging Stargazer over him "Oh you should always be ready for an attack," Says Darkmoon mimicking his and Stargazers old mentors voice

"You really shouldn't act so immature in front of your apprentice plus you probably scared all the prey away," says Stargazer standing up and shaking the grass from his dark pelt

Darkmoon looks around and see's Grasspaw "Oh Hello Grasspaw," he says standing up

Grasspaw spotted Darkmoon. "Hey Darkmoon!" she said through the feathers of the bird she held in her mouth. She went back over to Stargazer and put the bird with the rabbit they had caught.

"Oh good catch," Darkmoon says to Grasspaw

Stargazer nods "She caught it while it was still in the air she will make a fine hunter," he says


Darkmoon smiles proud of his apprentice

Grasspaw smiled. "I like hunting more then fighting." she said flicking her tail. She opened her mouth scenting for prey again.

Stargazer nods "Yes but the time will come when you have to protect your clan and those you love," he says "That's why you must always be prepared for a fight but try to never provoke one," he says

Darkmoon laughs "You sound like Skywillow," he says

"Yes well she was a very good mentor," he says

Grasspaw nodded and crouched in the grass straying from her mentor farther then she had before.

"You should really work more with your apprentice she shows great promise as a warrior," Stargazer says quietly to Darkmoon.

Darkmoon nods and follows Grasspaw "Careful there may be foxes," he says quietly to her

Grasspaw turned her head then turned back around. She stayed crouched and snuck through the grass carefully. Her tail swept against the grass and a family of mice bolted from a spot in front of her. She leapt and killed one of the adult mice but the other adult and six baby mice escaped from her grip. She let out an embarrassed sigh and carried the mouse back to her mentor with her head down.

"Oh very good," Says Darkmoon "Its fine prey even gets away from me sometimes," he says smiling

Stargazer nods "You must remember to know which way the wind is blowing, They could smell your scent on the wind," he says

Grasspaw nodded. "Okay..." she said. She put the mouse down beside the rabbit and bird. "Can we take this prey back to camp?" she asked her mentor looking up at his eyes.

Darkmoon nods "Yes," he says and picks up the bird she had killed

Stargazer picks up his rabbit

Grasspaw nodded and picked up the lone mouse that remained laying on the grass. She padded up to Stargazer's side with the mouse dangling in her mouth ready to go. Her pelt brushed Stargazer's lightly.

Stargazer padded through the grass he felt Grasspaw's pelts brush his slightly he purred quietly

Darkmoon didnt notice anything and just bounded to the camp leaving Stargazer and Grasspaw

Grasspaw smiled a little bit and purred pressing her head against Stagazer's pelt seeing Darkmoon ahead of them. When she pulled her head away she hurried away from Stargazer to catch up with her mentor.

Stargazer watched her go his eyes a little wide he purred and padded after them

Darkmoon glanced back at his apprentice "Want to go train after we put the prey in the fresh-kill pile?" he asks

Grasspaw nodded at her mentor. "Can Stargazer come with us?" she asked through the fur in her mouth. She slowed down and glanced behind her at Stagazer.

Stargazer listened to their conversation

Darkmoon nodded "Sure," he says

Grasspaw purred happily and began to run towards the camp.

Darkmoon followed

Stargazer trotted after them
