Onyx ran after Lloyd, not actually paying attention to where she was headed. Suddenly she heard a growl and skidded to a stop, finding herself face-to-face with a dog. Onyx hissed, the fur on her back bristling, her claws unsheathing. Her eyes flickered around the Two-Leg yard. 'WHERE IS THAT FLEA-BRAINDED KIT?!' Onyx thought, focusing on the dog again

Onyx glanced around the yard again and spotted Lloyd in a weird position, then saw the shadow. The pieces connected and she looked back at the dog, hissing and swiping at its nose with her claws, giving the dog a few scratches

Onyx leaped gracefully onto the fence. After a pause, Onyx spoke. "As long as we're heading away from the foxes I don't really care where we're going." she said

Onyx let her jaws part a little, tasting the air. She shuddered slightly and nodded. "Yeah." she said, flicking her tail. She leaped onto the roof after Lloyd

Onyx tilted her head at Lloyd. 'What is he doing?' she wondered, though she stayed silent and fixed her gaze on the sky, flicking her tail

Onyx stayed looking at the sky for a moment, then sighed and laid down next to Lloyd, tucking her paws underneath her body. After a few minutes she closed her eyes and fell asleep
