I'm not usually that drawn to a fiction book just because I get too caught up in the questions, why can people time travel? is this supposed to be normal for them? etc. but this book was lovely, felt like a little hug and discussed some topics about regrets and relationships.
Okay, so It wasn't completely about new beginnings either, due to the stack of started-but-never-finished books I have amounting on my bedside table and now on my Goodreads account for the world to judge. I chose one of these books for my first reading challenge, 1: because it might break me in a little easier, reading an already cracked book and 2: because hey they won't read themselves and well 3: because in a very loose connection to the challenge, me reading bloody anything would be a new beginning and therefore that's a big tick in the qualifying box.
This book, however, can be linked to new beginnings, without offering spoilers, this story follows the people who travel back in time and their reasoning. Despite the strict rules of the time travel that there is a time limit, you cant move and nothing you do will change anything in the future, people still go back. They cannot change the future but they can change their outlook and therefore they do change their own future.
This year can perhaps be that for me and maybe you, that we cant change the past and we cant even change the circumstances that we are in, but we can change the lens that we view it in and maybe that is changing the world?
haha I just read that back it it sounds very philosophical and corny
okay love you
bye xx
