Academy of "Monsters" discussion

"So...hi."

Dark looked at him, his eyes dull and emotionless. "Hi."

"Um...I'm guessing you're my dorm partner?"

He nods. "Yeah I guess." He turned around so he wasn't facing you. His tattoo showing.

He looked at the tattoo for a moment then took a book off his desk.

The tattoo glowed a bit. It wasn't really tattoo but a curse mark. Whenever it glowed it hurt.

He sat down and started to read, not really interested in Dark.

He looked at him and decided to leave, obviously he wasn't needed there. He started to leave the dorm.

"Bye." He said as he stopped at the door. Looking out.

He looked up, seeing Dark leave. "Wait. Do you wanna go to the cafe or something?"

He turned and looked at him. "Sure."

"Cool." He put down the book, and followed Dark.

Dark headed to the cafe.

"I was getting nervous, there was a...thing that was bugging me. I don't even know why I'm here since this place is full of basically aliens."

He smiled for the first time in years. "Understood."

"What are you?"

"Hm? What do you mean?" He asked.

"Are you human? Are you...another thing?"

He frowned. "Im not human. No one knows what I am. It was just discovered. Im the first of my kind." He touched the mark on his neck.

"What would you name your kind if you were to reproduce? Any ideas?" He picked up his book. "I wanna learn about different species here." He grabbed a pen and opened the book to the first page.

He nods. "Uhm well I look like a shadow so I'd call it a Shadow demon or something. If you'd like i can tell you about some of the people I know and there species."

"Are there any other demons here classified into separate species?"

He nods. "There is Lex. She is a blood demon." He said that and his mark glowed. "Ow."

"Ok..." He wrote Demons in big letters at the top of the page. He then wrote Blood Demons under that. "Can we meet her? I have some questions."

He nods. "Sure. She was at the cafe."

"Oh. Let's go back then."

He nods and stands up.

(I feel like Chase and Dark are gonna be good friends)

When he got back he closed the book, put it on his desk, and sat on his bed.

Dark looked at him. "You okay?"

"No." He sighed. "I thought we could be friends, maybe, since she kept smiling at me, but then I touched her tail and she got mad. So...I dunno."

He chuckles for the first time. "She wasn't mad. She was flustered. Demon's look mad and sound mad when there flustered."

"Oh?" He looked down, and then around. "I don't have a blanket. Do you have an extra?"

He nods and hands him a blanket.

"Thanks."

"Honeybee, honeybee, there's no such thing, as sweeter a sting," he sing-mumbled. "Honeybee, honeybee, there's no such thing, as sweeter a sting."

He ignored it, he grabbed something and removed his shirt. He had bruises and scars on his back, he had his back toward you. He put something over the mark on his neck.

He was curious to ask why his back was like that but thought it might be a sensitive topic so didn't say anything. He laid down and put the blanket over himself. After about 15 minutes he fell asleep.

He went into the bathroom and took a shower.

Chase woke up about an hour later.

Dark was already out of the shower. He was standing at the door, about to leave.

Chase sat up. "Hey." He rubbed his eyes and got out of bed.

He turned around and looked at him. "Hi."
