Hi everyone!! I’m Arianna and I love reading. My pronouns are she/ her. Thanks for the invite :)

Hello, everyone. I'm Amber. Thank you for the invitation. I'm not much of a reader lol. I do to get by but time is not my friend so I haven't been able to read much lately. I am a grandmother (Nana, to be more exact lol) of 4 and I have 3 grown children. I have 2 daughters who are both mommies and 1 son who's been trying with no luck. His girlfriend had cancer while in highschool and the DRs say because of the chemo, she can't have kids but they are still trying. Anyway, I have been writing since I was 11 years old. I was bullied growing up. Writing was the first thing that saved me. My husband was the second lol. I have 10 published books at the moment. I am an Indie Author although I have been published through traditional means as well. I changed my pen name and only self-publish now. Of course, I wouldn't turn down a traditional publisher if one came my way but I'm not seeking them out lol. I like the control self-publishing gives. I am 44 years old. I have a new book coming out next month in Feb and it's my best work (YA fantasy adventure).

Amber aka A.R. Grosjean

Nice to meet y'all!

Welcome Kubra!! Do you have any recommendations for middle grade books?

Welcome Kubra!! I'm so happy that you joined us!!

So many!! If you into different mythologies; the Aru Shah series by Roshani Chokshi is awesome.

If you like more unique worldbuilding then Alcatraz vs Evil Librarians (series) by Brandon Sanderson or Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull are such a page-turner/full of laughter series.

One of my personal favs is The Neverending Story by Michael Ende. A little chubby boy who is bullied in his school finds a book and while reading it he slowly turns into the main character!

Also, the Nevermoor series by Jessica Townsen has great character besides a unique magical school setting!

Oh, if you like more realistic books I strongly recommend The Distance Between Me and the Cherry Tree by Paola Peretti (but it's kind of a sad story)

Shame on me!! I forgot my own translations!! Beasts of Extraordinary Circumstance by Ruth Emmie Lang and What Stars Are Made of by Sarah Allen! They are both great!

Hope you like them!
