So this a thread where people can post any updates about the Crescent City series!
Anything Sarah announces, like cover, release dates, snippets, synopsis, etc. can be shared here! You can also put reactions to this information, but keep it minimal (and go instead to the chat folder, etc.).
The first news I am putting down is Bloomsbury has a realest date of November 2021 for the sequel!
And Sarah is talking about Crescent City in her next IG live, so maybe she’s prepping an announcement?

In her recent live Sarah didn’t reveal too much about CC besides:
She’s editing CC2
It has a good romance portion but less than ACOSF
Tharion is in CC2 waaay more

I’ve just started reading this book and one tiny small thing that’s annoying me is how sarah Maas is spelling hell. In the book it’s ‘hel’ ahhhhhhhh why why why

Oh there’s a reason! So in case you didn’t know, large parts of CC are based off of Norse Mythology (the raven on the cover being s Liam thing) and in Norse Mythology hel is spelt ‘Hel’ as opposed to ‘Hell’ like most use it. So in CC, Hel is based off of Norse Mythology:)

Some more CC2 updates:

Sarah has started her second round of edits!
200% more Tharion in this book ;)
The cover has started to be created, Sarah sent in ideas to the same illustrator of the first cover (Carlos Quevado) but she has yet to see the first sketch. She does know the colour it will be though!
She has picked out a title!
It will be out a year from now, so March 2022 ish, but she has hopes for a bit of an earlier release!

oooh. I'm guessing blue cover. and title House of Many Waters...

Hmm I think blue and house of sky and breath.
Than flame and shadow for book 3, with like a shadow cover (Idkwhat colour that would be lmao).
I think many waters will be a novella just bc it doesn’t follow the pattern but idk

That would make sense too! My thoughts for many waters is purely based off knowing there is more Tharion

Hey so Sarah did say a few days ago that CC2 should be coming early 2022 but to trust no date unless she herself says it!

i was hoping she'd release it by the end of the year :(

Same but with COVID and all I can see it taking longer , with her own mental health and the publishing delays

on a couple websites (bloomsbury, amazon, goodreads) it says its supposed to come out jan 25 2022 but i agree until we hear it from her dont put all your trust in that date:)

There’s also an otter named Fitzroy that makes an appearance.
Lots of action, lots of smut and lots of intrigue.

Actually I think the fandom agrees it’s Sarah’s best cover. And I bet it will look good since they have the same artist!

Amazon has put up a synopsis for HOSAB! It may not be the final one but it is likely quite close!

I am so sad😭😭 When I heard the exclusive editions dropped I sprinted to B&N online and BAM! To find out all the exclusive autographed copies for both stores have been sold out. 😭😭😭 I have an autographed copy of House of Earth and Blood and wanted a Sky and Breath signed copy to match. The B&N editions are completely sold out but I was able to preorder the BAM! Exclusive edition. So not a complete fail but I really wanted a autographed copy. 😭😭😭

Correction from my last post: The B&N exclusive editions are not sold out. Just the autographed editions.

Late to say this but Sarah has finished writing CC2! It is all done and complete so now she works on editing and then, perhaps onto the next ACOTAR instalment 👀

Look... my anxiety and excitement can only handle one SJM new release at a time lmao!!! I am just trying to make it to February for HOSAB. haha

Has anyone heard of any news about a signing tour like she did for CC1? I made a instagram just so I can following her page for any news of a tour. lol

I don’t know if she is doing a tour physically , but virtually makes the most sense! But since it comes out early next year idk what the pandemic will be like so I really don’t know

not available yet but target will have an exclusive edition with a bonus scene with Tharion! that's the latest edition, along with:

The way I can't get anything except a regular amazon paperback here in India so I'm gonna have to read the pirated version on wattpad of all these 😀
