Welcome one, welcome all, to our Winter's Ball!





The Winter's Ball is a fanciful, whimsical event! Held in a large pavilion in the side field of camp, a dance floor has been laid down. Round tables line the sides, covered in light blue and white tablecloths and elegant place settings. Fairy lights line the ceilings. A live mini orchestra is situated on a small stage at the front of the venue, providing music for dancing. A buffet is along the back, covered in snack foods, cupcakes, and a large variety of drinks. The entire event is decorated with white and blue lights, snowflakes, balloons, and face snow around the stage and buffet. As dark approaches, blue lights will cast a gorgeous tint over the ball. A fancy wrought iron gate surrounded by snow provides an entrance. Photographers are set up at the entrance to snap photos for the happy couples and groups of friends.

((The Winter's Ball has officially begun! Have fun!))

Harlow wandered into the Ball, wearing a dark green suit and the white snowflake earrings he had gotten from the Secret Santa exchange. He hadn't really bothered to do anything with his messy hair. He looked around, spotting the buffet, and picked up a tiny cupcake.

Mabel walked in, looking around in awe. She was wearing an indigo colored dress. It reached down to around her knees. The top was tight and strapless, covered in tiny white gemstones. She wore matching indigo flats, and her long, mocha colored hair was pinned back by a white clip on one side; a little wavier than normal. She smiled and spotted Harlow, her eyes widening as she remembering what had happened the last time they were together. Hopefully he doesn't start another food fight, she thought, looking down at her dress with a small laugh.

Harlow spotted Mabel and waved to her, smiling. He had only eaten one cupcake, but he had already gotten a glob of frosting on his face. "Hey!" He called.

Fallon bounced into the room, purple hair flying behind her. She was wearing a cute ice-blue dress with silver straps on the shoulders and a ruffled skirt going down to her knees. She looked around excitedly, wondering where everyone was.

Mabel laughed and walked over, smoothing her dress. The orchestra was setting up, and at the moment music was playing over the speakers. She grabbed a cookie and shook her head. "Hey. Are you always getting into a mess?" she said jokingly, pointing the frosting smeared on his face.

Mizuki walked into the Ball wearing a aqua and blue dress with a hood on it and she had her bow under her dress that has a gem in the middle of it and she had a winter crown that her foster mother gave to her, she walked over to the cookies and took one

Harlow crossed his eyes, trying to look at the frosting, before grabbing a napkin and wiping it off. "Seems like it," He said with a shrug. "How've you been?"

Dani was sitting down alone while her brother was wandering the camp. she never really has friends sure she talks to people but they don't really like her, she's too shy for their taste I guess

Mabel laughed and bit into the cookie, which was still warm. "Pretty good I guess," she said with a shrug. "What about you? Have you gotten into any more flour fights?" she asked, nudging him, a mischievous glimmer in her eye. She finished the cookie and grabbed another, as the music playing over the speakers turned into a peppy jazz song.

Mizuki finished her cookie and saw a girl sitting alone, before she left the table she took another cookie she walked over "h-hi w-why are you o-over here?" her dress dragging behind her a little and sat next to the girl, Mizuki sounded worried and curious

"Ack, no." Harlow shook his head. "It took me forever to get that all out of my hair. But someone gave me a bag of flour for the Secret Santa thing, so y'know..." He grinned. "I might have to start something."

Dani smiled, "sitting. Alone", she says while she was fiddling with her hands, she was looking out at the crowd. "What's your name?" she asked Mizuki as she yawned a bit.

she looked at her for a moment "my name's M-Mizuki, whats y-yours?" she took a bite out of the cookie, she looked at the Ball room, she was sitting on her dress she used some of her power to calm herself down and she put her bow in her lap

"Danielle, but others call me, uh-mm- D-Da-Ani. Dani", she says her shyness coming up to the surface as she was stuttering. She shyly smiled as she was drinking her water while observing the dance, "Do you dance or nah?"

Mabel smirked and rolled her eyes. "You're serious?" she said, raising her eyebrows. "It sounds like a flour fight is calling you." She twirled a piece of thread hanging on her dress, glancing around at the other campers starting to arrive.

"I don't really dance" she was calm so she stopped using her power "do you?" she looked as more campers started to arrive "looks like more people are arriving" there was a bit of worry in her voice, she gripped her bow tightly and looked back at Dani

"Yep. Maybe we could invite Lochlyn and Abigail to the kitchen again and get them with a surprise attack." Harlow mused, sounding entirely serious.

"I don't, too insecure", she says as she saw the campers her brother, not in the mix, "He promised", she whispered when everyone was inside. She started fiddling with her hands again, it was a reflex, sort of...it calms her down.

"do you need to calm down or relax?" she bow was at her side under her dress again and turned towards Dani, sje saw she was fiddling with her hand and that made her ask her necklace was almost glowing in the light

Mabel pasted a very serious expression on her face and looked Harlow in the eye. "I think that is a splendid idea," she said, faking a British accent. She swallowed, trying hard not to burst out laughing.

Harlow couldn't stop himself, and he started giggling, and eventually doubled over with laughter. "They'll never see it coming," He said once he had regained his composure, also using a very overdramatic British accent, before he started laughing again.

Dani looks st her, "I'm fine", She kept looking around for her brother, "He should be here, he promised", she softly said as she was still fiddling with her hands and now she was tapping her foot anxiously.

Mazo walked into the ball alone, she didn't manage to get a date to come. She looked around before locating the food and she made a beeline to it and grabbed some cookies. She had little hearts in her eyes as she ate her food.

Mabel stopped laughing as well. Hard laughing until her stomach hurt and she was gasping to get the words out. "Mighty fine idea, mighty fine indeed, kind sir," she said. Despite the joking manner, she thought this would be a fun joke to pull. After all that had happened earlier, she needed something to lighten her mood.

Brielle walked here. she immediatly headed for the corner and slouched down. she saw all the other people dancing and felt a bit out of place. she tried to act natural and pretend she wasn't lonely.

Brielle moved closer to him and tried to act natural, inside her head she was freaking out How do I talk to people?!?. she sighed and facepalmed herself. This is going to be fun... she thought sarcastically. "Hi." she said akwardly.

"whats your name?" she asked. She looked down and kicked her foot. "I'm brielle." she said shyly. argh!!!! why am I so akward. she thought, angrily at herself.

2 commas, 2 periods but a sentence needs to be more than just 'Hi.', that's way too short.)

She smiled at him gratefully. then she looked back at the floor that was close, I almost scared away another person.. She fidgeted a bit more. "mhm.", she blinked a bit and looked into the distance.

"Cool, mine is combat." She offered him a half smile. I hope that doesn't scare him. its scares most other people.she twiddled her thumbs and decided to change the subject "Uh. . . what's your favorite color???"

"Blue." she said icily, which was her normal way of talking. I can't let myself start to trust other people. Even if they seem nice. she mentally kicked herself This is why people aren't friends with you, you make everything cold and icy!, well then again it is for our protection... she had a mental argument with herself

Mazo was just kinda vibeing in the corner. She had her earbuds in and was listening to 'This Game' from No Game No Life. She had eaten at least 10 kilograms of cookies so far and showed no signs of stopping.

"No not really." her face was like stone Gahhhh, why am I feeling things. I'm not supposed to do that. I'm supposed to be tough and not be akward like this. good thing he's not an empath. she continued her mental conversation.
