I really like the premise of this book. While there's a lot of revisionist fairy tale stories out there, it doesn't seem to me that there's many stories about what happens after the protagonist returns from a portal world. (For example, I was thinking of the very beginning of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland film.) It feels like we're going to see a lot of tropes subverted here.
