Mollie AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

This book is c r a z y just at the end of chapter 8, I mean let’s be honest, Jude is absolutely amazing. And vivi being bi is actually amazing, I think it fits her personality very well for some reason. I hate Carden. It’s only like the 9th chapter and I hate him. Absolutely hate him. And I don’t use hate for book characters that often but he just makes my blood boil. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk

Beenish (beenishamir) booklover, any thoughts to share?

message 6: by Beenish (new)

Beenish (beenishamir) ughhh I loved how Cardan said "kiss me until I'm sick of it" and "if you're the sickness, I suppose you can't also be the cure". omg he's such a baby!!

message 7: by Beenish (new)

Beenish (beenishamir) I really am annoyed by Taryn ... first her posing as Jude to get the keys then her asking for favors. I'm glad Jude lied to her.

Beenish (beenishamir) what do you all make of the advice? XD

guys i only finished chapter 6 but i’m confused with one part... the room cardan chose to sleep in used to be the room that king eldreds lovers resided and roach said something along the lines of “that’s the place our high king chose to sleep in?” and jude thought it was a puzzle but it actually wasn’t. what does that mean? like what did jude realize

message 10: by Beenish (new)

Beenish (beenishamir) that Cardan chose to sleep in a room his dad made out with others lol. I hope that makes sense.

I can’t believe Jude is so kind that she is willing to still protect Taryn. I also can’t believe how none of the court will listen to her. It makes me sad and mad, even more mad that Madoc isn’t on her side. Regardless of the betrayal she gave him, she even said he is still her father. It hurts me a lot that Jude has no one to lean to.

I also LOVE the interaction with the Bomb and Jude. It was so playful and it reminds me of schoolgirls gossiping and talking about their crushes. I think it shows that Jude still has a little teen spirit in her.

Also, Taryn, GIRL!!! LOCKE IS A PLAYER MISS YOU DESERVE BETTER! has she been gone from the mortal world for so long that she forget how someone should properly love her? then again, Madoc loves her in a weird way so i guess all she knows are sacrificial love

I really wish jude had more power as well. she gave up so much to get recognition, power, respect, and she hasn’t gotten it yet :(((

AND THE ADVICE!!! yes, okay, i totally get the advice. i understand it. i respect it. it definitely was needed. jude is juggling so many things at once she forgets that she only is on person and she can’t do it all herself. i wish she was more trusting and isn’t afraid to be vulnerable.

also, was i the only one swoon that cardan kissed her hand? I was also sad that everyone is having fun during these festivities and jude isnt. Nicasia, Cardan, all the Folk’s, Taryn, Locke, they’re all reveling in joy and they’re having fun and messing around. Jude isnt. I just want all the good things to happen to Jude and I don’t want her to waste all the good years

message 18: by Beenish (new)

Beenish (beenishamir) maybe he didn't and Roach was just joking about the irony.

yes, I agree. it was very sad that Jude was completely on her own.

yes I loved it too. it showed we could trust her. because she's trusting Jude with something.

I agree :/ btw I hateee Taryn.

noooo.. I LOVED WHEM CARDAN DID!

message 20: by Beenish (new)

Beenish (beenishamir) I'm not spoiling anything. I just want to say that whatever good she does doesn't make me hate her less

ok ur right idk i’m a very empathetic person and i forgive too easily so when taryn squeezes jude’s hand or talks to her it makes me like her a lil more? But lemme reread the lost sisters so i can find the reason to hate taryn again LOL

message 22: by Beenish (new)

Beenish (beenishamir) haha sure do! her apology was just so not an apology
