SCHOOLS SHOULD BE MADE MORE PRACTICAL AND WE SHOULD BE TAUGHT THINGS WHICH WE WILL ACTUALLY USE IN REAL LIFE. MUSIC, ART AND DANCE ARE ALSO SUBJECTS. PLEASE TREAT THEM AS SUCH. IF SOMEONR GETS GOOD GRADES IT DOESN'T MEAN THEY'RE SMART.IT MEANS THEY'RE GOOD AT MEMORISING STUFF. LET US EXPLORE OUR TALENTS. EVERY CHILD IS UNIQUE. HOW CAN YOU EXPECT THE SAME RESUT FROM EVERYONE? GRADES DON'T MATTER KNOWLEDGE DOES. I'VE SEEN MANY CHILDREN WHO GET 100/100 IN ENGLISH BUT THEIR GRAMMAR IS SO POOR I CAN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE OUT OF WHAT THEY'RE SAYING. OUR NATIVE LANGAUGES ARE JUST AS IMPORATNT AS ENGLISH.
AS PER WHAT WE STUDIED LAST YEAR IN HISTORY THE INDIAN EDUCATION SYSTEM WAS DESIGNED BY THOMAS MACAULY TO APPARENTLY KILL THE CREATIVITY IN INDIANS WHEN INDIA WAS UNDER COLONIAL RULE. WE ARE STILL FOLLOWING THE SAME EDUCATION SYSTEM WITH JUST MINOR CHANGES. BUT WE STILL HAVE CREATIVITY LEFT IN US. THERE'S STILL TIME TO CHANGE THE EDUCATION SYSTEM.

You've raised a lot of good points. I feel the same way about our education system in South Africa. Things do need to change but no one wants to step up to the plate and when we do try to do so, people are so judgmental about it.

Idk. Right now I am quite happy because my exams got over and I'm gonna start 10th grade on 1st March.😁
