1.) the last wish (first book in the witcher series; it's a collection of short stories, but the main plot starts in blood of elves. it has a lotr feel in spirit, and uses a lot of slavic folklore. excellent worldbuilding!)
2.) the diviners series! (1920s paranormal with awesome cast of characters)
3.) ruinsong (phantom of the opera wlw retelling + interesting magic system)
4.) the midnight library (discussion about mental health and suicide, woman gets to relive different possibilities of her life to find happiness)
