I love animal stories and thought this might be a classic book that I have needed an excuse to read. My first Kipling. Although, Jungle Book is also on my list this year.

This book is the one I chose to read as well! I've had it for a while now and I've read bits and pieces but never the entire thing. I'm glad someone else will be covering the same book as me :)

Read the first couple of stories. I have heard some of these before. Reading The Jungle Book next week, so back to back Kiplings! :)
I remember listening to these on a record. LOL
I just finished this book and loved it. I like that although it is a children's book, it still has appeal for adults. I would recommend this for everyone, sit back, relax, and smile. five stars.
