Juniper Emerson | 2 comments I'm currently reading a people's history of the united states by Howard Zinn. I'm trying to expand my knowledge of history and politics, as well as reading more non-fiction in general!

That sounds like an exciting endeavour! I had similar plans for this year and started reading Barack Obama's A promised land. Very promising so far. How are you liking Howard Zinn?

Muyina That's great. I usually read History but haven't read about US History in a while. Looking forward to your reviews.

Sarina Senger | 1 comments If you're wanting to get more into non fiction, I highly recommend The Stowaway by Laurie Gwen Shapiro. It's about the first expedition to Antarctica around the 1920s and follows a stowaway teen boy as he's desperate to join the expedition. I was about a quarter through the book before I realized it was non fiction, and I usually avoid that genre! Lol.

Muyina Thank you! I've enjoyed all expedition's books that I've read so I'll look for this one.
