Hii! I'm working on my dystopian novel right now.. (I say novel, it's more like one and a half chapters 😂) But yeah, so I'll put my progress in a spoiler tag, so that everyone doesn't read it, cause right now these are literally just the thoughts floating around in my head..
(view spoiler)[There's this war going on between East Asia and the Indian Republic (which, btw, encompasses most of South Asia, and it isn't gonna be a republic at all, it's more like a dictatorship.) The story follows three girls: Anika, Samyra, and another one (I suck at giving people names..), and they all come from different backgrounds, but the war has affected all their lives differently. So first I'm plotting on how to bring them together, and then they'll work together to unveil a conspiracy by the Governments of the countries fighting in the war... (hide spoiler)]
I'm pretty slow at plotting out the general direction, but I know some scenes along the way : )

So, how's your book going?

Ooh, that sounds so interesting, I love stories in which the rulers have to prevent war XD
So, whose POV is it from, the Queen or the person who warns her? Or does it have multiple POVs? Also, what's the threat, like is it magical or sci-fi, or human itself?
(Sorry for all the questions, the idea's just so amazing!! :D)

I've almost finished the second chapter, hopefully I'll be done with it by tomorrow! It's about this girl who is the youngest Colonel in the IRA (Indian Republican Army; I really couldn't think of another name! 😅), so it's kind of hard to write, because obviously her feelings are gonna be kind of... repressed, that's part of their training, to cut of ties with anyone who might matter more to you than your mission...
I'm hoping to show some character development later, but that also means that I'm super slow at writing from her POV. It's getting there, though!

The one thing I want to ensure is that the POVs don't blend together, like I want each to have a distinctive taste, so that's something I'm struggling with right now... but, I've been looking at books like 6oC and Aurora Rising for pointers, so, it should work out!

Oh my goodness, choosing between her brother and the world sounds so heart-touching, the plot is awesome! I really want to see Wena and Ellyn getting closer, they sound like two awesome characters! I'm liking your ideas so far, I can't wait to see where you take the journey! 😄😄😊

Ahaha, I know, even I have ideas in the strangest places! I thought of the plot for mine when I was listening to 'Darkside'... it's funny, because when I usually want my brain to work, it doesn't, haha.

I haven't progressed on my writing much, barely a page (exams suck 😐), but I did get some ideas on how I want the story to go!
So like, I have two ideas:

(view spoiler)[The first one is, that you know the Khan's legacy thing mentioned in the first chapter? So, it's actually this information stored in Anika or Raj's DNA (I'm not sure whose) that can allow us to make genetic modifications, like faster speed, better hearing/smelling/sight, telepathy and all, so we could turn humans into bio-weapons. And the secret leaked out, which is why the Army and the other nations want to use Anika and Raj, to win the war, or assassinate someone, or anything... (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[The second one is that Samyra rescues them both because she works for a rebel organization (headed by the General person), and they are supposed to be influential, and become spies or something? Again, I'm not sure where I'm going to take this, except that there's this 'Initiative' to which the khan kids are essential because their parents were part of this organisation, and they've hidden genetic modifications to be triggered in their kids, which will help them with some world-saving task... Which one do you think is better? Though I guess I could somehow combine the plots, they're vague enough that it might work, hehe.

Also, wow, that sounds so spooky and interesting! I'm really interested in what you'll do with it, the premise is so good! Just reading about this made me shiver! The part where it says, "Run. Run as long as you can." That's amazing!!!
