I love music it's always on and when I'm reading I like to put on some nice chilled out music especially gamechops radio. Anyone else like music when reading?

I have tinnitus so I have to have noise. I listen to a mix of country, classic rock and pop and modern indie/ alternative. I love Icon For Hire, can't wait fir their new CD!
quite a mix of styles, I used to be purely a metal head but have recently discovered a love for country and lo-fi stuff though still love my heavy stuff. not familiar with icon for hire just going to jump on YouTube and check them out
While I read I generally have VGM (video game music) playing in the background. I have a huge collection of MP3s I've obtained over the years. I've also been pleasantly surprised with the amount of chiptune and VGM that is now available on Spotify.
I also listen to a lot of punk, metal, techno/dubstep.
Dave I love the lofi stuff from gamechops. Helynt's VGM lofi albums are excellent.

I had a listen and they are not my usual thing but I didn't dislike them definitely further listening required. I have managed to pick up the Zelda and chill and poke and chill albums on vinyl the other half hates them but I really like how productive they make me put the mind in a good place.
I love music. I'm always listening. it helps me cope with people haha. I listen to most types of music except music with no lyrics and classical type music.
I can’t stand complete silence, so there’s usually something playing. My radio at home is set to one specific country station that plays the good southern gospel on Sundays (the comedy routines are on point too). My car radio tends to jump stations from country, rock, pop, classical (if I’m close enough to get a signal); basically whatever I’m in the mood for. If nothing strikes my interest, I pull up some old favorites on YouTube or Tidal.
I was meant to be going to country to country last year. it's not very profitable for alot of country acts to tour here so we get a weekend where they all turn up. was really excited to see Luke Combs he was the headline act. but sadly they cancelled it for 2020 and have just cancelled it for 2021.
I feel you David. I normally try to go to as many live music events as I can usually 5-10 a year, it used to be a lot more. Friday March 13th I saw Flatfoot 56 (Irish Punk) play at a local arcade and that was the day they sent the kids home from schools and shut it all down.
oh you are missing out live music no matter what is just magical like Greg I go to alot of gigs (I used to work for a concert promotion when I was 17) small venues are the best but you also can't do better than seeing the rolling stones in a stadium. it's so hard to put into words the way it feels and how much I miss it
I dont like being around people in crowded places. I'm under 5 feet tall, so I can never see if I'm in a crowd
I'm not a huge fan of crowds myself for some reason gigs don't bother me but I totally get why people don't like them.
I can't listen to music while I read, but sometimes I listen to deep brown noise. It's like white noise, but it's much more soothing
that is the best feeling ever! have just spend a fortune on vinyl from a local record label hopefully find something amazing. I will need to get a listen to the new icon of fire stuff as well
I will get them on YouTube once I get home from work. the bigger shop pipes in music and it just drowns everything else out
I play Rocket League every Saturday night with my friends and we use a shareplay for Spotify. Each week one of use has to provide a 2 hour playlist. I spend too much time making the playlists and am now set for the next couple months as my turn only comes around every 4 weeks.
If anyone wants to friend up on Spotify let me know. I'm always curious to see what everyone else is listening too.

I would love to help with the playlists but sadly I don't have Spotify I really should get it though just can't seem to come off bandcamp at the moment
Let me correct that- we work every day from last night till the tenth, 12 hour shifts 7 pm to 7 am. No, not a firefighter Greg, just a machine operator at a mail plant!
that's good I guess have to work what suits us all. anyway almost quitting time here can't wait to have a listen to the tracks you recommend
Maybe Jenny is a nurse? Anyway, Im a huge Arctic Monkeys and Cage the Elephant fan. I guess I just have a thing for bands named after animals.
Lemme know if you are also a fan
I listen to a lot of videogame music while I'm reading. Otherwise I listen to a lot of Punk, Metal, and EDM.
