MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILERS I read this book around 2017 and it was about this girl whose parents were scientist in a factory I think. They died and after that every generation died very young, man would only reach the age of 25 and woman the age of 20. She has a brother and they live in their parents old house, but always sleep in the basement because that is easier to defend. The main character is kidnapped when she goes to look for a job. I remember there was something special about her eyes, maybe two different coloured eyes. And the man who payed for her kidnapping is someone of the last generation thta actually got old and he wanted her for his son whose wife just died. And the son basically had three wives, and had a child at some point with the yougest. I remebere that he was an architect. And the house had a really nice garden and a creepy basement where the father would work all day. One of the wives dies because she lied about her age and is actually 20. Through the book the main character fell in love with a boy who worked in the kitchens and at the end of the book they run away together to find her brother. I always wanted to read the sequel but never got around to it and now I can't remember the name of the book.
