Here is the 17th entry in that ever increasing section, Arkham House: http://www.arkhamhouse.com/ They're still around! It was founded in Wisconsin in 1939, eighty-two years ago: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arkham_...

Their first publications were mostly anthologies and short story collections. They also published a few novels. I am mostly interested in the novels that were published by Arkham House because I doubt in the 1940s or 1950s any other publisher printed weird fiction novels. Most of these novels were not the best in terms of authorly quality, but all of them look really, really interesting to me.

Here's a partial list of the ones I have found already:
1) Witch House (1945) by Evangeline Walton haunted house novel
2) The Lurker at the Threshold (1945) by August Derleth Lovecraftian
3) Slan (1946) by A.E. van Vogt science fiction
4) The Web of Easter Island (1948) by Donald Wandrei Lovecraftian
...
21(?) The House of the Wolf (1983) by Basil Copper, a werewolf novel!

Other Arkham House books can be found here (a distinct minority of these are novels): https://www.goodreads.com/shelf/show/.... That's actually a wonderful list of mostly weird fiction classics.
