These are different times. It's 2020 and the education system has taken a big hit because of the Pandemic. If anything, the cover has been removed and the flaws that have festered for years have been globally exposed. It is no longer the sole responsibility of the System to improve, parents now have a front row seat (some literally) and need to ensure that raising the standards for Educators is enforced and the curriculum is updated. Funding has to be a priority as every child has to have access to the tools to promote learning. Libraries should be loaning out laptops as well as books.
