Books for Change discussion

Hey everyone! February is celebrated as Black History Month. To mark this, we have a challenge for you! The following are the prompts:

- Love is in the air: Read a book featuring romance between two black characters or a black character and a person of color

- OwnVoices: Read any work by a black/African author

- More than a color: Read a book starring an intersectional black character (black & LGBT, black & neurodivergent, black & disabled, etc)

- Slept on: A book no one talks about

- Black, Bold and Beautiful: Read a book where the main character is African/black

-Call and Response: A book recommended by the community

-Around the World: Read a book that is set in a country in Africa

The points would be given for each book as follows:

100-200 pages: 2 pts
200-300 pages: 3 pts
300-400 pages: 4 pts
400-500 pages: 5 pts
500+ pages: 6 pts
Buddy Read: +3 points
Reviewed book: +5 points (hide spoiler)]

Also, every participant has to post atleast one fact about black history. For more than 1 fact, you will earn 1 point for each fact posted. Try not to repeat what others have already posted.

Sign ups are open till January 31st and may extend if necessary. You can sign up by saying something like "I'm in!" and posting one fact about black history.

@Leah actually you don't have to post a TBR. You just have to complete as many prompts as you can.
