Appointment With Agatha discussion

I think that a few of us are going to read one of the alternative nominations that didn't make it into the runoff in February. That got me thinking that a place for more impromptu buddy reads and other golden age mystery projects might be useful.

So, here we are!

Are you looking for a friend to read a book that didn't quite make the cut for the monthly side read? Are you interested in drumming up participation in a side-project? This is the place to start.

I did not but I will, I’m in the process of reading all her books again 🙂

Having read The Secret of Chimneys puts you in a great position to join in with The Seven Dials Mystery this month!

I liked The Secret of Chimneys. I think most people would see Anthony as arrogant but I saw him as confident and that gave me permission to like his character despite his flaws. I like a confident lead character.

I am going to start The Seven Dials Mystery next!

I finished it a few minutes ago too, guessed a major mystery but i guess it was kinda obvious still loved it overall.

I agree that by a certain point in the book it became kinda obvious. Can't be surprised all the time I guess.
