A Bookish Adventure... discussion

I haven't read either of those, actually, but here are a few:
If you're into retellings, Forest of a Thousand Lanterns is a Chinese-inspired retelling of the Evil Queen. We Hunt the Flame is inspired by ancient Arabia (I haven't read it yet, but I plan to!) Silver Phoenix is inspired by Chinese mythology. Hope these look interesting!

I’d recommend The Astonishing Colour of After and Girls of Paper and Fire

I'd also recommend Empress of All Seasons - it's Japanese mythology and so magical and fun as well as lots of edge of seat action, so I loved it

Any good books with a agoraphobia or social anxiety representation about character development or smth like that?

@Rini I recently read Love, Life and the List by Kasie West. The mother of the main character deals with agoraphobia...It's great cuz we see how it affects the main character.

There is also Dear Evan Hansen :) I haven't read it but my friend recommended it to me. The MC deals with severe social anxiety!
