Classic Trash discussion

This one zipped by for me. I always loved the movie, and I always loved the book. I actually enjoy the 'behind the scenes' author's notes. So it gets 5 stars from me. Now I really want to watch the movie again.

I liked this a little less this time around (although I still liked it quite a bit.) I think the meta nature of this book pushes me back a bit and doesn't let me fully engage. But it's fun, and Goldman is a great writer.

Goldman is truly gifted but, I gotta say: this is one where the movie is a little better. Although, I am sad that there was no princess school in the movie. That could have been pretty amusing...
