I can't believe you've opened with such a colossal spoiler - I was so looking forward to reading about Anne & Henry getting their HEA in this book ;-)
I'm in as well! The library says that it is "in transit" so I will need to start late and catch up. I also still need to finalize my Wolf Hall reading with a review. Work has just been a bit too much lately.
I couldn't really adhere to the schedule, but ready to get started now. Hopefully will make headway on my 4 hour return flight on Saturday!
Lol, glad it isn't just me. At the airport and an in the middle if Part I ch. 2. This book seems easier to read, but in some ways less interesting bc I feel they are recapping Wolf Hall more or less thus far . . .
In this books defense, I am reading nothing these days. I am managing to slowly make my way through my audio because I can get ready/make dinner/clean while listening to it, but I haven't picked up a print book in like a month....
I am 83% through . . .don't know if I will finish completely today, but it's a possibility! I'm liking this book a lot more than Wolf Hall. It started slowly, but now it's gathering a lot of momentum as we approach Anne's downfall and Cromwell reveals a more evil side of himself.
Glad that you making progress and enjoying! I have the print book but it will be a March read for me.
I am on page 150. It has been slow going just because of work and life and not so much because of the book.I did feel like it started pretty slow, it felt like a long recap of what happened in Wolf Hall, but I am coming to the end of Part II and I think we have hit a turning point of getting into more intrigue.
I will most certainly NOT finish today. lol

Who had more family drama than Henry VIII?!? lol
The people I have down so far are:
Anita
KateNZ
Nikki
Nicole R
But anyone can join!
A rough schedule is:
First week of February: Part One, Sections I and II
Second week: Part One, Section III and Part Two, Section I (a little long)
Third week: about half of Part Two, Section II
Fourth week: rest of book
You definitely do not have to stick to that, but we do try and limit the spoilers to that schedule. However, SPOILER ALERT, think Anne will lose her head!?!?
I am actually very much looking forward to starting this. I feel like I am in the groove of reading Martel's writing and I don't want to lose it!
