I read a few from my list and started a couple new (to me) series as well. Fun start to this year!Dawnshard #3.5 in The Stormlight Saga
Death on the Nile #17 Hercule Poirot
A Geek Girl's Guide to Murder #1
A Geek Girl's Guide to Arsenic #2
The Tourist Attraction #1 Moose Springs, Alaska
At Home in Mitford #1 Mitford
Killer Chardonnay #1 Colorado Wine Mysteries
Guardian of the Horizon #16 Amelia Peabody
Rocannon's World #1 The Hainish Cycle
Since several of you have remembered to come back and report on your progress, I figured I should do the same. Here are the series books that I read in January:
From my list of 21(22) series that I want to finish this year I finished the last book in the Penderwicks series and also listened to two books in the Welcome to Partonville (Dearest Dorothy) series by Charlene Ann Baumbich. I still have three books left in that series, but progress is good!
I listened to one book from two other series that I had started previously, but they are not series that I plan to finish this year. One series is Flavia DeLuce mysteries by Alan Bradley and the Christmas Central series by Caroline Mickelson.
Then I read the first book in 3 different series.
Anna Pigeon mysteries by Nevada Barr (for book club)
Quilts of Love series by various authors (on Audible Plus)
Luck Uglies (reread book 1 before continuing the trilogy)
My FIRST PRIORITY in 2021 is to stay current with 21 series in which the latest book was yet to be read at the end of 2020 OR the next book was to be released in 2021. Here are the books I read in January 2021 from that list:(#3 on list) Happy Narwhalidays (Narwhal and Jelly #5) by Ben Clanton (finished 1/30/2021)*
(#9 on list)The Scorpion's Tail (Nora Kelly #2) by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child (finished 2/29/2021)
*NOTE: it was announced recently that there will be another Narwhal and Jelly released later in 2021:
Narwhal's School of Awesomeness (Sept 7, 2021); so I am looking forward to reading this 6th book to remain current with this adorable children's series which will be a BONUS read for this challenge.
