February is Black History Month!

The month to celebrate black historical and modern figures who have shaped or are shaping history as we know it! This months challenge is to read at least one book by a BIPOC author and/with a BIPOC main character, outside of the group book.

Each genre is assigned a point value:

- Contemporary/literary fiction: 2 points
- Romance: 4 points
- Fantasy: 6 points
- Sci-fi: 8 points
- Graphic Novel/Comics: 10 points
- Mystery/Thriller: 12 points
- Historical Fiction: 14 points
- Non-fiction/Memoir: 16 points

To win the challenge you must hit a minimum of 30 points!

For this challenge I hope to start and finish:

- The Vanishing Half (14 points)
- Homegoing (14 points)
- The Poet X (2 points)
- Party of Two (2 points)

If I get to all of them that would be a total of 32 points!

4 books in 5 days without audiobooks for any of them...can I do it?
