Did you enjoy this popular YA series by Marissa Meyer?

- Did it feel more like YA or MG?
- Was it contrived, or do you think it had a good spin on the traditional superhero tale?
- Was the romance good?

I thought it was contrived. It wasn't exciting for me at all. Just boring. I predicted everything. And the writing... it was really weird, for some reason. It didn't feel like YA, it felt like MG. I don't think Marissa Meyer's strong point is her writing. The feelings of the characters felt awkward and scripted.

This is one of my favourite book series. I liked the whole idea of good vs evil through the superheroes and villains, and how it was questionable at times.

OMG I literally finished Supernova last night

The first book was like meh, but Archenemies and Supernova were both like 5/5 for me

Nova was kind of a generic YA female protagonist though, imao.
