I was surprised that she didn't alert hospital security that something strange was going on with this guy. She was suspicious enough to follow him. It turns out to be a good thing that she was taken hostage or they never would have caught the killer.
She sees a guy that is acting sorta strange. That isn't a crime, so she follows him. I don't know how she thought this was going to end, but it ended in the worst possible way. I think Carina being taken hostage saved the people there from being killed, because Charlie was going to kill someone.
Carina followed her instincts and took it as far as she could before calling for help, which was fortuitous. I’m not sure she could have done anything differently.
I also agree those nurses might not have made it out alive without her. Charlie was prepared to die.

She could have done many things differently, but I think things would have gone much worse if she hadn't followed him and been caught.
I don't think she could do anything differently. She saw a man acting strangely. She also noticed his swollen eyes. I worked in a hospital long enough to know a lot of people have to deal with personal tragedy. If Carina hadn't been there and asked for Lucy, that whole situation would have exploded--literally. Peterson lost his will to live.

Carina gets drawn into a hostage situation when she sees Charlie Peterson behaving suspiciously. Was there anything she could have done differently to avoid being taken? Was it better that she was or did she make things worse?
