I actually had no idea why he was so hostile. It seems like many people know Sean's family and don't care for their tactics. Maybe that was the case. Or, was he worried about Carina and didn't want her family shoving their way into the investigation and getting in the way?
I was shocked by Will's attitude. I get that this was his city and his case, but Sean didn't do anything to deserve the 'tude. I want to say that it was due to his concern for Carina, but I don't think that was all it was.
I was caught off guard by Will’s open hostility towards Sean and dismissal of Lucy. It was unprovoked and unprofessional. I kept wondering if I’d missed something.
Will's attitude really upset me. I couldn't understand the hostility. It was very disturbing. I'm with you Jonetta. I was trying to think of anything I may have forgotten for previous books. Refresh my memory...did we ever get a reason for it?
I went back and checked our discussion of Will’s book. Overall, we weren’t all that impressed with him for good reasons. Here’s the link to one of the discussion questions. I’d also look at Question N.

Initially I thought Will still looked at Lucy as a kid and didn't give her credit for her input. Kind of like the nagging little sister. Unfortunately he didn't let it go. A lot of people get upset with Sean, but even after he helped them out, Will was still unprofessional and dismissive of these two. I'm not a fan.

Will Hooper seemed especially hostile towards Sean and later dismissive of Lucy. Any idea why?
