I just tore through The Wife Upstairs by Rachel Hawkins- a very entertaining modern retelling of Jane Eyre. It's definitely a pageturner and has plenty of twists! I'm also still making my way through Hilary Mantel's Thomas Cromwell trilogy- currently reading The Mirror and the Light. They're all excellent.
I haven't been able to focus on a new book in a while, so I'm re-reading some of my favorite series. Next up: Sabriel by Garth Nix
Just finished my 7th book of 2021 (they’ve all been pretty short, I’m not that fast), “The Undocumented Americans” by Karla Cornejo Villavicencio. It was such a good book; she has a unique brand of humor, empathy and concern in her storytelling. I’ll be recommending this book to a lot of people.
Sounds good Jennifer!. I’m read How to be an Anti-Racist by Kendi. Very readable but I have to read it in short chunks to digest it.
Hi, My name is Tammy B. Tsonis. I'm a new local author in Park Ridge. I published my debut book, Lost Among the Tide, last month. It's a tale of self-discovery, romance, and family set in a beautiful New England city. It's a short read at 33,000 words so it's ideal for busy readers to enjoy.
The book is currently available for free on Kindle Unlimited, low priced on eBook and paperback on Amazon:

It is also listed on Goodreads under my Author Profile -Tammy B. Tsonis
I look forward to exchanging some ideas for great recommendations. Enjoy your weekend and stay warm :)
