Hey everyone! I am trying to fill in more of manga discussions here in our group to urge other people to join!

Has anyone of you read Chainsaw Man? If so, then let us discuss it together! :)

Volume 3 just came out this week in English. I have read the 3 volumes and I love it.

I already started reading chainsaw man last week but I put it on hold because of my finals. I am currently on chapter 6 and I AM ENJOYING IT IT WAS HELLA FUNNY

Now that I see it's complete on the Shonen Jump app I need to burn through it.

finished volume 1 and 2! I am gonna pick up the next volume. it is a quick read so I think I can finish this in just one day(?) not sure but let's see. I love power and denji! they were so hilarious

there are so much to talk about especially in the last two volumes, I am confused with whatever's happening but still enjoyed the action scenes. I find it hard to get attached to the other characters tho since after they got introduced, fujimoto yeets them out in an instant lol

I really want to read this based on everyone talking about it but really struggling to find a print copy. might have to try going into one of the bigger stores

I know there is a sequel series coming out after the series was moved from Shonen Jump to their online publication. Not sure how that will work out though.

Time to accept digital David. $2 for a month of Shonen Jump online and you can read the whole thing.

I burned through 3 volumes today so far, glad I have the shonen jump app so I can keep going! I'm on chapter 43 RN

I am so excited for all of you to finish it so that I would have someone to discuss it with!

ok Greg this time I might agree with you on the jump app it's pretty decent and might actually save me some penny's. going to put it on the kindle once I charge the thing.

I’ve read the first two ones, but tbh I can’t really warm up with the story, still buying the third one though!

We got volumes 1-3 and 9 for my library, it's been going out... pretty well? I'm hoping circulation of them will increase once the anime comes out. Hoping to grab volumes 4-8 and the new ones as they come out. The covers can be... interesting to have on shelves >U<

We're located in a small rural area in the North-Eastern US, although we have a pretty sizable collection for the population. Right now we have fewer than 100 adult graphic novels... we actually just this past month consolidated them all into an adult graphic-novel shelf (previously all GNs were just mixed in with the general adult fiction and non-fiction collection). Unfortunately my budget only really allows for buying 1 or 2 graphic novels a month, especially considering our main patron population is elderly people who don't really read GNs or teens who read YA/13+ GNs, so it's hard to sell the idea of buying more adult GNs than that. Hoping that keeping track of circulation will show that they do go out (although we bought the first handful of "The Way of the Househusband" and they haven't gone out at all... Beastars vol. 1 has also disappointed in going out) ;_;
