Play Book Tag discussion

Miri and some of the other graduates of the princess academy travel from Mount Eskel to Asland to be there for the royal wedding. Miri gets to study at the Queen's college and Peder comes along to study from a stone mason. It's been awhile since I read the first book but I remember it being enjoyable and liking getting to know the girls in the academy. Unfortunately all the other girls have very minor roles in this book. Miri gets involved in a revolution plot to overthrow the royals which is boring for most of the time and I doubt kids would find it interesting. There is a third book in the series but I didn't find this one interesting enough to want to read it.

You're not missing much. The Goose Girl and Book of a Thousand Days were her best books IMO but the rest are somehow missing something. Mostly 3 stars, okay but not great.
