It's fun but can be a lot sometimes! I'm glad I'm buddy reading them so that I can mix in some other genres

The way we buddy read is so much better than my other groups. I don't get so overwhelmed with huge fantasy books to get through

I read through chapter 4. I feel really bad for Megan that her dad avoids her and isn't mentally present. No wonder she wants to graduate and get out.
I also think (view spoiler)[ maybe her crush has something to do with the Cupids and that's why he has to go all the time? (hide spoiler)]

I feel bad about that too. I'm not totally liking her though and I can't figure out why just yet.

I didn't even think about Jay and why he's leaving all the time!! That makes sense though. Now I'm super curious!

I agree with you about not really liking Megan. She's very bitter and judges everyone. I know her dad hasn't been there for her, but when he tries to ask her about her day she shuts him down and storms off.

Yes. Megan is super judgy but without justification to me. I understand someone being closed off or have walls up but she just takes it out on everyone which isn't healthy and makes it hard to like her.

Agreed. Hopefully she changes her outlook during the cupid part. Also from today's chapters (view spoiler)[ it was pretty obvious the teacher would get with the principal, but I'm glad they did (hide spoiler)]
