Hi,

One of my books appears to be assigned to the wrong author profile again (it seems Goodreads always assigns my new books to the wrong author).

The book is: Demon Stalked (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...)

My profile is: https://www.goodreads.com/AnnDenton

For reference, my author profile is Ann^^Denton with 2 spaces (^=space).

When publications are automatically imported from Amazon or other sources, the "handshake" between Goodreads and the other source do not recognize multiple spaces, so the work goes to the default 1 space profile. It is systemic and in no way an oversight or error in attribution. Often when users add works, they may not be familiar with the number of spaces that this profile uses, so may only use the default spacing, and this also in no way implies that there is an error or misattribution.

It is a very simple matter for a librarian to do this. thank you so much for mentioning the 2 spaces.

I just released a book and it has been assigned to the wrong Brooke Taylor. The book is Unimaginable: Life After Baby Loss

I'm not sure you'll be able to reassign it to me because I haven't been able to create an author page since my book has been assigned to someone else. But perhaps if it is detached from her profile, I'll have the opportunity to claim it?
