The Woman They Could Not Silence: One Woman, Her Incredible Fight for Freedom, and the Men Who Tried to Make Her Disappear by Kate Moore
A short time ago, I began reading the new book "This Was Hollywood: Forgotten Stars and Stories" by Carla Valderrama.
This is shaping up to be one of THE BEST books about Hollywood I've ever read. I'm learning so much!
Question: Who was the first bona fide movie star in Hollywood?
Answer: Florence Lawrence.

Every Dead Thing by John Connolly"
I've enjoyed a few books in this series; they can get pretty gruesome and spooky though. 🌞
