neri (neriusis) I've just read all of the VA and Bloodlines books and wish to see more of the world. Is Richelle Mead writing anything? I've seen an interview from last year but it was, well, last year. Also, the movie? There were speculations on Netlifx purchasing the rights to production and the activity of the Facebook page of the official VA movie a couple of years back. Is anything happening or we're literally just left with nothing crying out there?

P.S. I've read all the stories and novels from the world too.

Anshul | 5 comments Richelle Mead has written other books but sadly, nothing in relation to VA and Bloodlines series.
Vampire Academy was the only movie released but because it didn't do well in theatres, no other movie is in production as far as I know.
There is nothing else happening, we just have to content ourselves by re-reading the series.

The Talented Miss Ripley (thetalentedmissripley) | 8 comments I heard that Peacock has ordered the series! And the same person who did Vampire Diaries and the Originals. Fingers crossed!

neri (neriusis) It should be a 10 episode series, there's an official Twitter account where the writers of the show post (@VAWriters), hopefully Vampire Academy gets justice now!!

Faelynn (auriele) | 10 comments I'm a little disappointed with the cast but I'm still going to have an open mind about the tv show and I hope it has a good run. :)

Anshul | 5 comments I don’t have high expectations from the show. Julie Plec said in an article that Vampire Academy is a modern-day Bridgerton with vampires. Although I liked Bridgerton, but I think the series is more than that.

Here’s the article: https://www.google.co.in/amp/s/us.new...

Brianna | 1 comments Definitely upset with the casting choice and how most of the cast don’t fit the character descriptions, however I’m going to try and keep an open mind. Julie Plec took Vampire Diaries (which I think wasn’t the best book series) and turn it into a good show, so imagine what she can do with a great book series.

The Talented Miss Ripley (thetalentedmissripley) | 8 comments So….I am disappointed as well in the cast, but I’m going to look at as a reimagining of Vampire Academy since trying to follow the book didn’t do well. So I wan to see where it’s going to go!

I just hope the tv show doesn't turn out as the movie did.... Means Girls with vampires. :(

The Talented Miss Ripley (thetalentedmissripley) | 8 comments I 100% agree.
