This was my favorite book in the series (so far). I know I've said that a couple of times. The series just keeps getting better and better.I was totally stumped about the identity of the killer. At 70%, I didn't even have a real suspect. I wouldn't lay the book down. I just kept reading and reading.
I really like this series. The way all the plotlines come together at the end makes really good reading. Some of the resolutions were a little unrealistic as I detailed through the discussion but hey it makes a good story so I don't care too much, LOL.
I was consumed by the Alex/Kim storyline that I wasn’t paying a lot of attention to the case until near the end. As unsettling as the experience was for me, it’s probably my favorite, too.
I agree with everyone. This is my favorite so far. Jonetta, I mentioned in one of the other questions that the Kim/Alex conflict distracted me from the murder too. Every time I relaxed a little Alex hit back.I loved Bryant in this one. The ending when Kim asked him to help pick out a frame was touching. Dawson had some good scenes too. .
Great discussion.
