Star Wars Canon Challenge discussion

Curious about everyone's thoughts on this one. I'm just about done and I love seeing the Jedi in their prime. I'm just not in love with the pace of the story. Some parts feel rushed, like Loden and Bell's story on Elphrona, but then the reaction to the Emergences and the Nihil feels drawn out.

Did anyone feel the same?

I was really excited about this new series but did not really enjoy the book. Way to many characters, not enough depth, storyline all over the place. I also didn’t really care for the name dropping of Yoda. No significance at all. Could have been better.

I recently finished this book. I like the new era. It gives me the sense of what it was like when the jedi were just keeping peace and not fighting for their lives.

I do agree that there were too many characters, and none of them really developed deeper. I had to figure out who is who. I want to learn more about Yoda and his early days. I wonder if that's in the works.
