Here's something I think could be interesting. What is your favorite book cover? I know we shouldn't judge this things for the story, but how about just some neat pictures/paintings/designs that have caught your attention over the years.

On the flip side: what about the worst as well?

Here's a pic of one that I've always enjoyed with its tight, succinct, and subtle elements to show the horror.

This one really caught my eye in my youth.

Unfortunately it's not letting me follow through the link. Here is one of the worst covers I've ever seen, but it fits with the story and was a very decent novel:

That cover is cool. I have heard you mention that book a few times. Give me the three sentence summary, if you would.

Johannes Cabal is a necromancer and strikes a deal with the devil. Takes a train driven, soul stealing, carnival across the country(i forget the location). He wins the deal.

It's been at least 5 years since i've read that book.
