- Use asterisks [*] to show actions.
Ex: *coughs*
- Use double parenthesis [(())] to show thoughts that your character isn't saying.
Ex: ((Could we go to the common room?))
When roleplaying, there are two different perspectives you can choose from. The first person perspective is as if you are the character. The third person perspective is as if you are the narrator. There are examples below.
1st Person Ex: *looks under her bed and screams* James what are you doing under there?
3rd Person Ex: Brenda looked under her bed to find James hiding under it. She screamed loudly.
