I only have three arcs and with all the books on my shelf it feels like too much.
Here's one I made on the first of January but a lot has changed and I will most definitely not be able to read Centennial. I want to but it's long and difficult. By long- I mean 1,000+ pages. My dad read it and told me that the intro is 100 pages of describing grass, seasons, and the migration of horses. I've crossed off the ones I've finished :)2. Swindle
3. Allies
4. The War That Saved My Life- DNF
5. The War I Finally Won- not for a while
6. Fawkes
7. The New Case For Gold
9. The Deceivers Heart
10. The Warriors Curse
11. The Elephant In My Kitchen- owned tbr
12. A New Hope- owned tbr
13. The Empire Strikes Back- owned tbr
14. The Return of the Jedi- owned tbr
15. Mirrors Edge- fingers crossed for an arc
16. Charlie Thorne and the Lost City- fingers crossed for an arc
17. Bear Bottom- fingers crossed for an arc
18. The Finisher
19. The Keeper
20. The Width of the World
21. The Stars Below
22. Resistance- owned tbr
23. Code of Honor- owned tbr
25. The Secret Cellar- won't read for a while because the previous book was a disappointnent
26. Hunted
27. Genesis Begins Again
28. Poisoned- currently reading
29. Stepsister
30. Deep Blue
31. Rogue Wave
32. Dark Tide
33. Sea Spell
34. Hunted
35. That's Not What Happened
36. The Book Thief- owned tbr
37. Golden Gate
38. Shielded
39. Words on Fire- owned tbr
40. The Fellowship of the Ring- owned tbr
41. The Two Towers- owned tbr
42. The Return of the King- owned tbr
43. The Princess Companion- owned tbr
44. Life in Infamy
45. The Clockwork Crow- owned tbr
46. Iknega- owned tbr
47. The Velvet Fox
48. The Midnight Swan
49. Under the Hawthorn Tree
50. Centennial
I liked The Hobbit but it was a bit slow for the first 100 pages and lots of on and off action. -Which I love action but it got slightly repetitive.
Well ~warning~ A lot of people think the beginning of the fellowship of the ring is really slow but once you get through the beginning it gets so good.
I know a lot of people dnf it, So my advice is just be persistent. once you get through the beginning it gets so incredibly good. The two towers is my personal favorite.
But the return of the king is the fastest paced
Adding more to my TBR because I have no control:The Second Summer- ARC and possible buddy read
Natural Born- maybe
Into the Crooked Palace- it sounds good
I thought I was an idiot and didn't add Fawkes to my first list.
I do not remember the days when I could check out a book from the library and not have my mom look it up.

Same it’s a problem

Brooke wrote: "I just signed up for two more bookclubs and bought new books."why do you sign up for so many books clubs? didn't you say you're a part of like 80?
I am in just some fun groups, but I'm in about 10 bookclubs, some with multiple BOTMs. A lot of them are ARCs or buddy reads.
Brooke wrote: "I am in just some fun groups, but I'm in about 10 bookclubs, some with multiple BOTMs. A lot of them are ARCs or buddy reads."that sounds like a lot. I can't handle that much stuff, but I'm glad you enjoy that online interaction.
Brooke wrote: "I also have a buddy read of Lore and a group read of The Goblin Wood!"that sounds like fun! I've heard of Lore, and I know a lot of people say that it had a very complicated world/premise that wasn't explained well.

Yes! I'm so worried that I won't like it!
I'm currently reading Lore! My heart has been beat up about twenty times. After page 160 things start to get better with less info dumps. I'm not the hugest fan of the writing style sometimes but it can also be SO BEAUTIFUL!! I LOVE Lore and Castor <33I'm also reading The False Prine which I have abandoned unwillingly. I am still reading it- just one page at a time.
Charlie Thorne and the Lost City is INCREDIBLE so far of course! I'm pretty far into this one but have also kind of set it down.
I'm also using an a*diobook but the narrator is one of the two I tolerate so it's good! It's of Skybreaker by Kenneth Oppel which I dnf'd a few months ago in 2020 because Marissa Meyer and Scott Westerfeld called to me.
I also started Gourmet Hound which is lovely
April TBR (but what I DO read will be different)I plan on finishing all of my CRs before the months end. *snort*
