Good idea

I've been thinking we could have a place where we can have a sort of short story of the week/month, or maybe every 2 weeks. We can do ones that are available for free online and all discuss. It might be a little difficult to do a lot of them, but I know of a few that I really liked.

Yes! I read a lot of short stories, and a lot of the time they're really interesting, or really deep, and not a ton of people discuss them. A lot of them are available through Project Gutenberg and other places. Authors also sometimes post them on their websites. Just a suggestion for something I thought might be fun! :)

I was thinking that maybe we could have like a two week event where some people write short stories based on a theme that you have a poll for (eg. have a poll for good vs evil, romance, revenge, redemption etc) and all of the writers have to follow the theme. And then have readers read the short stories and vote. The idea is not completely original, I saw another group doing this, but I think it would be fun to do here sometime.

That would be cool! We can do that soon, maybe after the readathon ends :)
