Hi buddies! I am starting this tonight as the audiobook is 19 hours long, I don't want to rush it :)

I just got my copy! A beautiful hard cover. Can't wait to start next week.

Yes Michelle Obama reads her own book. Her voice is so calming that makes me not stop listening. It's very inspiring right from the beginning.

I'll definitely check it out.

Great! I'm currently focused on reading two other books so I'm going to start Becoming around the weekend when I finish one ^^

I am almost done reading this one. My life will have been worth living if I manage to be atleast 20% as awesome as her. What a force!

part 1 : the fact that her family supported her through such adversity is highly commendable. So much to learn about parenting.

part 2: she really became a power to be reckoned with and forged a beautiful relationship with her husband. almost brought tears to my eyes as we see her grow.

part 3: How the hell does one hold their own and stay true to themselves through this grand mess of the white house. amazing!

Yes. I really admired how Michelle's parents provided for their children despite of their status in life. I became really inspired from the beginning to end. Before I asked myself why didn't she run for President and now I understood why. It's a one hell of a ride being there. I moved here in the US late 2009 and the country is in the middle of recession. Although I was not that involved into politics before but I can say that they have done their best to bring back the economy. I can't wait to listen to Barack's memoir.

Been on my list for so long and I might take this one slow because this isnt like a fast paced thriller - I'm sure I'll enjoy this one.

So I'm not done with the book yet, about 30% of the way through, might not even finish this month since I've been having a reading slump and all... but the audiobook is really good. She has such a calming voice and her story is amazing, so much to learn from it. I know it'll be a 5 star read for sure and something I can come back to for lessons and such.
Just felt like dropping my thoughts and all :)

Hi Chika! I agree the audiobook was really good! I can't stop listening to it and didn't even noticed that it's 16 hours long!

I also listened to this on audio and I agree about her voice. A great lady.
