If you didn't read Ghost Light, what has been your experience reading any other book in second person?
I am listening to it in audible, I like the voice of the girl reading it, it has an interesting ambience. I like the beginning because it is a historical setting, and the effect of second person is interesting. I have not finished it yet,

I'd have to study/read a bunch of those in order to get it right.
Hmmm, that is so weird. My comment about choose- your- own adventure is missing from my other remark, but you *Chrys* responded to it, So it was there lol.I would have to do more reading too, before I attempted to write the choose- your -own adventure.

I got two emails for two of your comments and must’ve replied to the wrong here, because I went looking and found that comment under the poll.
It says:
I have not finished it but I am listening to the audible. This is not bad with an interesting ambience. Definitely, think it would be hard to write 2nd person for a larger work. Would I do one? No, not, unless I was writing a choose your own adventure book probably.

too funny, thx for clearing that up lol.
I tried to listen to the audiobook but could not follow the POV or connect with the characters. It seems like an interesting story, but I think I should have read it. Perhaps I will revisit it down the road. This was my first time reading something in 2nd-person. I wouldn't mind trying it for a short piece but I don't see myself ever being comfortable writing like this. Definitely an interesting exploration.
