Yes, Katniss is a LOT better than Tris. She's so awesome. She can look breathtakingly gorgeous in a dress, but she can also kill you. That's Katniss. She's a strong and independent girl. She can be selfish, but she's very compassionate towards those whom she loves. She's definitely a better character than Tris.

I love both of them. Even though I agree with what u said about Katniss, I think Tris is a pretty strong character too. She can look very innocent but can be actually quite dangerous when she becomes angry.

i don't think Tris can even compare, i thought she was a strong character in the first book but i didn't even recognize her in the last two

I was never a huge fan of Tris, but I love Katniss. My favorite part of her character is probably how smart she is. She actually plans and thinks on her feet and mostly avoids doing stupid things.

I agree! Katniss is one of the few YA leads who doesn't do stupid things. Even if she does something impulsive, it's good.

Katniss 100%. I feel like she can take care of herself a lot better than tris, she knows how to hunt, she thinks before she does things, she doesn’t make stupid decisions (i mean there’s a few every now and then but for the most part) , and best of all she doesn’t rely on a man.
