Zeal (zealmaheshwari2007) I want to know what do the colours represent?

The colors represent cover colors for books- so like the red square means you need to read a book whose cover is primarily red colored. Is that what you mean?

Lilly #2 (stormiiclouds) | 138 comments would the book scythe count for red? There's a lot of red on on it, but I'm not sure if it would count Scythe (Arc of a Scythe, #1) by Neal Shusterman

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes! I'd say that counts! If the book appears to be over 50% the color, it counts !

Lishy (lishy1237) | 40 comments Hi, if a book has a lot of different cover editions do we just go with the one we have? Or like the newest one?

Hi! Good question! Choose the cover edition that you will be reading :)

Nemesis (opal_gemstone_954) | 158 comments I have a copy of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland whose cover is light green, and there are more than SEVEN HUNDRED editions of this very books published over the decades, yet I can't find the one I read on Goodreads. So the question is - does it count for the reading challenge if Goodreads doesn't have that cover?

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes! Basically just honor system type thing, since you asked, I will trust that you have a light green edition so it counts :)

I can upload a photo if you want😂
It was a copy that my aunt gifted my mom around 1990 and I have no clue where she managed to find it since it's nowhere on the internet.

Ali Mae | 60 comments Would this book count for stripes?
The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
Technically if you look closely is has some

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

Hmmm I'll count it! The peacock feathers are in a stripe-like pattern and the lines of the feathers create stripes, so I think it would be good!

Evelyn Would you say Born a Crime Stories From a South African Childhood by Trevor Noah is contrasting colours?

message 16: by Tessa (new)

Tessa Herondale~Carstairs (jessawessa) should I say I completed a book if there's no more squares for that color?

Evelyn wrote: "Would you say Born a Crime Stories From a South African Childhood by Trevor Noah is contrasting colours?"

Hmmm no I don't think I could count it for that. Contrasting colors are like black+white, orange+blue, green+red, and purple+yellow.

You can if you want to, but you don't necessarily need to right now.
