Done, Erasmus is the primary author for all the books, alternative names in different languages are kept as secondary authors where needed.
I was just working on Erasmus as well. I noticed that the Desiderius Erasmus has a full biography as well and this profile is also primary author on quite a few works. Before I move them all to Erasmus and make Desiderius Erasmus secondary author, I wanted to check that this is indeed the right interpretation of the GR policy. Who should be primary author on all works, Erasmus or Desiderius Erasmus? And in case anyone else is revisiting this a year down the line (like me), here are a few more spelling variations of the author:
Didier Érasme
Desiderius Erasme
Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus
Desiderius Erasmus von Rotterdam
Didier Érasme de Rotterdam
Erasmus von Rotterdam
Erasme de Rotterdam
Erasmus Rotterdami
Erasmus Rotterdamilainen
Erasmo de Róterdam
Erasmus Rotterdamský
Erazm z Rotterdamu
Erasmus Roterodamus
Erasm din Rotterdam
Эразм Роттердамский
(Perhaps unnecessary to clarify: "Desiderius" is first name, "Erasmus" is last name, "Rotterdam" is birth place)
