I don't think I'm gonna read it... I have way too much to read and I just suspended all my holds so I can get the books I do have done haha

after finishing COI I thought about re-reading the Clockwork trilogy, but if I can be honest with you...After the way I felt after finishing COI and after remembering the way I cried after I finished CP , i'm just really scared I'll get into a reading slump again. But I will absolutely follow your thoughts on it/them.

The consul is so annoying... Threatening Gabriel and Gideon just to spy on Charlotte.... I feel like the only consul I've liked so far was the one in the Last Hours trilogy

I just read the letter Gabriel and Gideon wrote for the consul and it was hilarious 😂 I love how they spent the majority of the letter complaining about her hats/clothes

I haven't read this in about a week because of a buddy read I had.

My goal is to finish this by the end of the month!

So far, I've read chapters 8 and 9 and wow. Jem and Tessa just announced they will move up the wedding and so many bad things happened right after that... Tessa kidnapped, Jessamine dies, and then Jem collapses.

Chapter 21: When Tessa changes into the angel who's trapped in her clockwork angel device, that was a cool scene! I forgot that was how they ended up defeating Mortmain and his clockwork army.

Only have four more chapters to read and then I'll be done!

"And who is this gentlemen?"
Will's grin widened.
"Oh him," he said. "This is Cecliy's friend, Mr. Gabriel Lightworm."
Gabriel, half in the act of stretching his hand to greet Mr. Herondale, froze in horror.
"Lightwood," he sputtered. "Gabriel Lightwood.”

And I'm done! The ending was just as emotional the second time around 😭
