Play Book Tag discussion

I had heard good things about this book, and really wanted to like it more than I did, but I just didn’t connect with it and many of the characters. Most of the teenagers were mean, one-dimensional stereotypes, and some seemed to act in a way designed to deliberately hurt other people. I felt that the plot was ok, but the writing wasn’t great. This was originally written in 2003, and it did feel a bit outdated, so I might have felt differently about the book had I read it when it was a new release.
