Wings of Fire - The Last Hope discussion

Nighthawk entered the winglet cave. Looks... cramped. Great. he looked around and saw a Nightwing style bed.
The young hybrid made their way to their winglet. Once they arrived, they noticed the other Nightwing. Instead of bothering them, the young hybrid made their way to a bed they assumed was theirs and laid down. They curled up, tail over their snout. They didn't say anything, instead, they laid there calmly and silently. Unless approached, they probably were just going to stay like that until they fell asleep.
The larger dragon gazed over at the other. He laid down in the bed he'd chosen and just watched the hybrid.
The hybrid just stared back at him. They simply gave a small nod before shifting uncomfortably in an attempt to get comfortable. They were more or so used to their old den, so getting used to this new one would be difficult. They rolled over on their back, showing their stomach to the ceiling as they moved around uncomfortably. "Ugh. I already hate it here," they muttered with a huff.
They sighed and rolled back over, their tail swishing around them in slight agitation. Though, despite that, they took a deep breath and calmed down. "Since we are going to be sharing a winglet," they started, "What's your name, dragonet?"
"Dragonet?" he laughed. "I'm Nighthawk, and I'm sure I'm older than you little thing." he winked at them.
"Maybe. Maybe not. But I highly doubt you're full-grown so you're still a dragonet, and I'm a seawing so I'm bound to be smaller." They said, laying their head on top of their talons and looking at them. They seemed to ignore the wink he gave them and just stared at them blankly. Even though they claimed to be seawing, they definitely had scale colors that did not belong to seawings. They yawned quietly. "I'm Deepsea. They/them. Call me she or he and I'll claw out one of your eyes. This will be your only warning." They threatened though it didn't sound all that threatening with their monotone voice and indifference.
"I honestly don't mind that" he smirked. Nighthawk laid. "I'm male, but I honestly don't mind being called anything else." he said, his voice was filled with boredom and he played with his talons as his tail twitched irritably.
"Great. Then we won't have any problems." They said. They stood up, stretching a bit as they did. "Have you been to the prey center yet? Is it like a, kill and catch your own food or is it already dead by the time you get there kind?" They asked tiredly. They couldn't sleep off their hunger due to how uncomfortable it was so they might as well eat something, even if it was a pain.
They let out a small sigh. "I'll do it myself. It's just a pain in the hind." They responded. "Have fun with this small winglet." They said, walking back toward the entrance. They seemed to had assumed that the other would be staying there, to well, do whatever they came there to do.
"Fine. Do what you want." They said as they walked out, walking at their usual pace. It was clear they were in no particular rush. After all, they were trying to ignore their hunger and just sleep.
Nighthawk smiled and followed the dragon. His rather large talons making clicking sounds on the halls.
They followed behind, going over to their bed. They placed their makeshift cloth and neatly folded it out, revealing their bones. They organized them from smallest to biggest quickly and placed them neatly next to their bed.
The other watched the male for a few moments before curling up in their own bed. They closed their eyes and went to sleep slowly.
((Only Sandwings' scales radiate heat, not Skywings'))
Nighthawk rose his head as he felt another presence in the cave.
Just ignore that then-
